My approach is a documentary, reportage style of photography, used to record your special day as it happens. Whilst also being adaptable and dynamic, in that I am able to adjust or tweak my style to your requirements or provide a nice balance of show stopping portrait wedding photography, whilst still capturing images with a real-life feel mirroring your memories as if you are truly frozen in the moment.
Photographing weddings is a joy and my passion. Capturing happy couples having a great time with the people who mean the most to them. What’s not to love? It’s an emotional day, for sure. And to be chosen to capture those emotions as they unfold through this most special day is truly an honour. I truly love what I do, and there is no greater pleasure than handing over a set of images to a couple and for them to love them.
Wedding Photography is about capturing the Romance of the day, the Love & Affection not just of the lucky couple but also all of the friends & family making your special day. Natural Story Telling Wedding Photography
Weddings are about family, friends, fun and emotion. My approach on the day is to allow you to enjoy your wedding free from interruptions and staged moments. Couples often comment that their favourite pictures from their wedding day are those that capture those candid real moments that happen throughout the day, and encapsulate the emotions of the moment to cherish forever.
So I won’t rush you, and I won’t be keeping you from your party. You guys get on and let me capture the anticipation, the romance and the fun of the occasion: in authentic, vibrant and beautiful photographs that tell the story of your day.
I want you to look at your wedding photos and relive what it actually felt like to be there, from one moment to the next. What I try to do is encapsulate the emotion of the moment to cherish forever.
Relaxed Couples Portraits
Every wedding is beautiful and it’s important to capture that. I love to create stunning relaxed portraits of you on your wedding day. I like to focus on the connection between you as a couple and create natural relaxed portraits.
I’m a pretty chilled out guy, and I try bring that calming chill with me whenever I photograph, it all helps people relax and ultimately helps me take better pictures. And don’t worry, I have plenty of tricks of my sleeve to make you laugh and smile for your portraits, so you’re free from awkward posing with fake smiles! My focus is to be capturing real smiles, real emotion and genuine moments.
Wedding Venues & Destinations
The UK is blessed with wonderful wedding venues that look great all year round. There really is no shortage of options to suit all tastes: from urban chic, to rustic, rural idylls; Medieval churches to ultra-modern cityscapes; tipis to town halls; traditional to quirky.
Whilst I am a Northamptonshire based wedding photographer, I do also love the opportunity to travel further afield and discover the delights of wedding spaces up and down the country.
